There are several organizations we follow closely.  The ones with links listed on this page are ministries the Lord has used to make enormous impact in the way we do things in our family.  We would like to share them with you so you know they are there and so you can prayerfully consider how they may be of benefit to your family as well.

Bold Christian Living

This is a wonderful ministry through which the Lord has taught us much about what a Christian Family should be all about Biblically.  Many things are covered, especially Biblical design for families, home schooling, and church.  Jonathan Lindvall has really challenged our family to look at the way we do things through a Biblical worldview and not just to follow the “typical American norm”.  He humbly talks through issues using Scripture as a basis for all his teachings.

Titus2.com, dedicated to building up and encouraging mothers.

We've learned much from this great ministry about the value of scheduling family activities as well as gaining the hearts of our children, and having a joyful home. Miss Sarah Maxwell has written a wonderful series of books, The Moody Family Series, for children. These books are definitely Team Southerland favorites.

The Vision Forum

A great ministry also very much focused on Biblical family and church design, as well as an outstanding resource for wonderful books and materials to be used to develop a Godly family and lifestyle.

Good Things for Your Family

This ministry sells many old reprint story books that make great family reading, as well as resources to teach gender specific skills.  Their Keepers at Home and Contenders for the Faith programs are super for helping us to teach practical skills to our children.

logoGraham Family Ministries

Our friend, Sheri Graham, has been such an encouragement and blessing to our family. We have used several of her copy work ebooks and her preschool ebook  (Click here to view more details) in our home education journey. We also use her decorated journal pages in a variety of fun ways. In addition, her Nourishing Cookbook blog has some super tasty and healthy recipes that our family has enjoyed.

 Why "Team"?

When we refer to ourselves as "Team", we simply mean that we are a group of people the Lord has placed together with common goals and direction in life. We believe He has placed us together for a reason, and so we seek to stay together as much as possible. We enjoy our team and enjoy doing things together. Since we are a team, we're not spending time and money chasing individual goals and interests, but those of our team. Additionally, we hope to teach our children the importance of "Team" so they can enjoy the same thing in their families!
